A taste of West Bengal – hands on class

£50 – £55Join us for a hands-on cookery class at Aboyne Academy Home Economics Department. You will learn to cook authentic cusine from West Bengal. We’ll share our knowledge of the spices and techniques used in this region of India and how the dishes originated. No prior knowledge is required just bring yourself, an apron and some containers to take home your delicious creations. Everyone will have their own workstation and set of ingredients. We will guide you through the cooking process by cooking alongside you with a live video feed to keep you on track.
Places are strictly limited and must be paid in advance. You can book your place using a credit or debit card. Tickets are £50 per person (optional £5 supplement for free-range chicken) and we’ll help you cook a classic Rizzala from Kolkata and a Bengali squash side-dish. This course is suitable for vegetarians and vegans as we can make with Rizzala with chicken or vegetables.
