Learn to cook to South Indian cuisine from scratch – hands on class

£50 – £55Join us for a hands-on cookery class at Aboyne Academy Home Economics Department. You will learn to cook authentic South Indian cuisine from scratch. No pastes or ready made sauces just aromatic spices, great produce, traditional recipes and straightforward techniques. No prior knowledge is required just bring yourself, an apron and some containers to take home your delicious curry, side and rice. Everyone will have their own workstation and set of ingredients. We will guide you through the cooking process, the spices and techniques by cooking alongside you with a live video feed to keep you on track. Places are strictly limited and must be paid in advance. You can book your place using a credit or debit card. Tickets are £50 per person (£5 supplement should you require free-range chicken) and we’ll help you cook a classic South Indian chicken curry, a Thoran vegetable side dish and a South Indian spiced rice. This course is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans but the 23rd March course would be.
